This tour combines Thailand’s cultural highlights with one of the world’s most famous celebrations – the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan. But before you throw down, get your cultural fill first. Keep the energy up in Bangkok before relaxing in serene Chiang Mai. See a different side of Thailand on a Northern Hilltribes trek, or marvel at the unique lowland jungle of Khao Sok. Adventure Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok at any time.

Day 2: Bangkok/Chiang Mai

Opt to visit Wat Po and the Grand Palace, or check out the city's klongs by boat. Board an overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Day 3: Chiang Mai

Enjoy one of two street food crawls with the group and CEO. Opt to visit Doi Suthep temple, comb the night markets for souvenirs, or participate in a Thai cooking class.

Day 4: Chiang Mai/Ban Mae Jok

Trek through rugged forests and experience the wonderful diversity of this region: each village has its own language, belief system, style of dress, and traditions. Drive from Chiang Mai to Mae Malai village, where the trek will begin. After a few hours of hiking, reach the first village.

Day 5: Ban Mae Jok/Pa Khao Lam

Trek 2-3 hrs and, after lunch, head to a Karen village to learn about traditional basket weaving and scarf-making. Continue trekking another few hours to the next village for the night.

Day 6: Pa Khao Lam/Chiang Mai

After breakfast, leave the village by bamboo raft, stopping at other villages along the way. Meet the van after lunch and head back to Chiang Mai for some free time to explore.

Day 7: Chiang Mai/Bangkok

Opt to go shopping, enjoy a Thai massage, or explore Chiang Mai's many temples. Board an overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 8: Bangkok

Get out and explore this fantastic city where there is endless sightseeing to be done.

Day 9: Bangkok/Surat Thani

Get to know Thailand's capital. Check out Wat Pho and the Grand Palace, get a Thai massage, or explore the klongs on a boat tour before an overnight train. Enjoy a street food crawl with the group and CEO either today or another day on tour.

Day 10: Surat Thani/Khao Sok

Enjoy an included breakfast at G Adventures supported Kao Thep Pitak Community-Owned Farm & Restaurant. Continue on and discover the natural beauty of the area with an excursion to Lake Cheow Lan. Opt to go hiking or swimming in Khao Sok National Park.

Day 11: Khao Sok/Ko Pha Ngan

Travel across southern Thailand to Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand. Settle in and get ready to celebrate the full moon at one of the world's most famous parties.

Day 12: Ko Pha Ngan

Experience some of the best Koh Phangan has to offer on a full day excursion to idyllic Bottle Beach. After a guided trek through the jungle, savour a Thai lunch on the beach and soak up the sun and laid back vibes. This evening, head out for a party you won't soon forget.

Spend the day exploring the island.

• Final Payment: This is due 60 days prior. For bookings made eight weeks or less before the date of departure, the whole contract price is payable at the time of booking. Note that failure to remit payment on due date could involve passengers in cancellation of their reservations and forfeiture of deposit.
• Cancellation: Any cancellation by passengers must be made in writing and acknowledged by G Adventures in writing. Charges will be determined by date on which the cancellation is received by G Adventures.
